Urban Sharing provides services in the fields of Green Economy, Sharing Economy, and Circular Economy, leveraging web and IoT technologies. Its goal is to promote sustainable services and encourage conscious behaviors among citizens.

The services are delivered by project partners through a single integrated platform: urbansharing.it.

Citizens register on the platform, select their reference community, and choose the services they prefer.

The first available services will include:

• the management of sustainable and shared mobility,

• co-production of renewable electricity, and

• enhancement of waste sorting and recycling.

The platform will reward citizens’ virtuous behavior using cashback logic (economic value spendable within the network), thanks to a proprietary algorithm capable of measuring the reduction in environmental impact through the calculation of each user’s Ecological Footprint.

The integration of a wide range of smart city services into a single platform, the involvement of specialized partners, and the economic participation of eCommunity consumers — transforming them into true prosumers — make the Urban Sharing project a truly groundbreaking innovation.
